제목 : Topological classification of (quasi)toric manifolds Toric 다양체란 대수기하학에서 다루는 toric variety를 위상적으로 확장한 개념으로서 2n-차원의 다양체이면 n-차 torus가 locally standard 하게 작용하면서 궤도공간이 simple convex polytope이 되는 공간을 말한다. 본 강연에서는 주어진 다면체 상에 존재할 수 있는 toric 다양체에 대한 위상적 분류에 대하여 설명하고 특히 다면체가 simplex들의 곱일 때 어떻게 나타나는지, 그리고 이와 관련된 문제들에 대하여 다루고자 한다. |

제목 : Competition graphs of doubly partial orders Let $D$ be an acyclic digraph. The competition graph of $D$ has the same set of vertices as $D$ and an edge between vertices $u$ and $v$ if and only if there is a vertex $x$ in $D$ such that $(u,x)$ and $(v,x)$ are arcs of $D$. Cohen~[1968] observed that almost all competition graphs of food webs obtained in an ecosystem are interval graphs. Roberts~[1978] asked whether or not Cohen's observation was just an artifact of the construction and concluded that it was not by showing that if $G$ is an arbitrary graph, then $G$ together with as many isolated vertices as the edges of $G is the competition graph of an acyclic digraph $D$. Since then, it has been an open question for long time to characterize the digraphs whose competition graphs are interval even if there have been partial results. The study on this problem has led to several new problems and applications. One of them is to characterize competition graphs of an interesting family of digraphs In this talk, we present results on competition graphs, CCE graphs, and niche graphs of doubly partial orders. |

We consider the existence, nonexistence and multiplicity of solutions for nonlinear one-dim p-Lapacian problems with a singular weight. We give two classes of singular weights and investigate regularity of solutions, existence of bifurcation branches and for some cases, approximation of the branches. |
