0. 수학사   <사회수학 : 400년의 파란만장 강의>

사회사(社會史)와 수학(社會數學) : 인류 역사에서 혁명적 발전의 시기마다 그 시대 사회가 안고 있던 문제를 해결하는 중심에 수학이 있었다. 우리는 최근 400년의 인류 발전에 크게 기여한 수학의 역할과 한국근대수학의 개척자들에 대하여 알아본다.

본 강좌는 "수학은 무익하다"라는 생각을 완전히 없애주며, 동시에 현대수학을 이해하고, 한국근대수학사를 세계수학사의 관점에서 학습하고, 동양수학사와 서양수학사를 비교한다.

... SageMath의 경우에는, 저도 정말 잘 사용했는데 Cloud 서비스화 되면서 점점 사용하지 않게 되더라고요.  (자신의 로컬 PC에 설치해서 사용하던 Notebook이 좋았죠)  암튼 선형대수학 공부하는데 최고의 툴 같았어요.  ... 교수님이 쌓아놓은 공개 교재, 강의동영상들도 많고...  제 경우에는 Symbolic Notation을 간단히 다룰 때 특히 유용했어요.  인수분해 같은거 골치 썪힐 필요 없이 매쓰매티카처럼 한 방에 해 주니까 정말 좋더라구요....

Calculus is the mathematical foundation for much of the university curriculum in mathematics, science, and

engineering. For the student of mathematics, it is often their first exposure to rigorous mathematics. For the future

engineer, it is an introduction to the modeling and approximation techniques used throughout the engineering

curriculum. It is the mathematical language that expresses many fundamental important concepts in science.

 

We begin our study of differential and integral calculus with functions of a single variable and topics such as

L'Hospital's theorem, concavity, convexity, inflection points, optimization, simple ordinary differential equations,

parametric equations, polar coordinates, infinite sequences and infinite series. We then turn to multivariate and vector

calculus, covering vector-valued functions, coordinate systems, partial derivatives and multiple integrals. This book

has many problems presenting calculus as the foundation of modern mathematics, science and engineering, using

concepts, definitions, terminology, and interpretation of the given situation.
