The Internet and world wide web provide unique and exciting opportunities for the delivery of educational materials. We will discuss how the Java programming language is being used to develop micro-learning environments for kindergarten through college level mathematics. The object oriented nature of this language is particularly well suited for designing tightly focused graphical user interfaces that allow the user to explore and interact with a wide variety of mathematical topics.
